What is a delivery checklist?

A delivery checklist is the pre-flight QC list an editor runs before sending a deliverable, so nothing gets forgotten and the delivery doesn't bounce. This tool lets you start from a broadcast, social or client-review template (or build your own), work through each item with a check, an optional "not applicable", and a quick note — paste the measured LUFS next to the loudness item, for example — and jump straight to the Editools tool that helps you complete it. When every applicable item is checked you get a clear "ready to deliver" state, and you can export a clean completed record to attach to the delivery email as proof of QC. Everything is saved locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Pick a template (Broadcast, YouTube/Social, Client review) or create a blank checklist.
  2. Fill the project, version and target, then work through the items — check, mark N/A, add notes, and open the linked tool for each.
  3. When everything applicable is done, copy the summary or download the record, and export the template as JSON to share with your team.

When editors use it

Right before a broadcast hand-off, a client review, or a social publish — any moment where a missed step (wrong loudness, no captions, a temp music cue still in the mix, a bad filename) means a bounced delivery and a re-export. A shared team template keeps everyone delivering to the same standard.

Frequently asked questions

What should a delivery checklist include?

A typical broadcast delivery covers loudness and true-peak targets, safe areas, a slate, the correct format/codec, captions or subtitles, the naming convention, total runtime (TRT), no temp elements (VFX, music, color), and a full start-to-finish QC view. Social and client-review deliveries swap in export settings, thumbnails, chapters, watermarks and version control.

Is it free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser and your checklists are saved locally on your device.

Can I share my checklist with my team?

Yes. Export any checklist as a JSON template and share the file; a teammate imports it as a new checklist. Importing never overwrites their existing checklists.

Does it check my file automatically?

No. It is a guided manual checklist — it does not auto-inspect your file. For each item it links you to the Editools tool that helps you verify it (for example the Loudness Meter), and you confirm and note the result yourself.
