Post-production notes

Notes, revision checklists and sticky notes for post — with timecodes that export as NLE markers. Local & private.

Your notes are saved on this device only — not synced, and cleared if you wipe the browser. Export to back them up.

What is a post-production notepad?

Post is full of corrections, revision rounds and quick reminders. Notes is a fast, private notepad built for editors: free-form text notes, revision checklists with checkable items and a progress count, and a board of draggable colored sticky notes for parking quick thoughts. The editor-specific twist: any note or checklist item can carry a drop-frame-aware timecode, shown as a chip and sortable — so a client's review corrections stay keyed to exact moments in the cut. Timecoded items export straight to an Avid/Premiere marker list (and CSV). Everything autosaves to your browser's local storage and never leaves your device; export to Markdown or JSON to back up or move between machines.

How to use it

  1. Create a notebook for the project, then add notes, a checklist, or sticky notes.
  2. Tag any note or checklist item with a timecode (set the project fps); sort by TC and tick items off as you address them.
  3. Export to Markdown/JSON to back up, or send timecoded items to your NLE as an Avid marker file or CSV.

Note types

Use plain notes for free-form thoughts and direction; checklists for revision lists and delivery to-dos with a live X-of-Y count; and the sticky board to lay out ideas visually. Because each item can be timecoded and exported as markers, it doubles as a lightweight place to collect review corrections keyed to a cut and hand them to the edit.

Frequently asked questions

Are my notes private?

Yes. Notes are saved only in your browser's local storage on this device — nothing is uploaded. Export to a file to back them up or move them to another device.

Do notes sync across devices?

No. Storage is local to this browser, so notes don't sync. Use Export (JSON) to back up and Import on another device. They persist on return unless you clear your browser data.

Can I add timecodes?

Yes. Any note or checklist item can carry a drop-frame-aware timecode shown as a chip; sort by timecode and export timecoded items as an Avid/Premiere marker list (TXT) and CSV.

Is it free?

Yes, free with no sign-up. Everything runs locally in your browser.
